About Love and Logic Jim Fay, an educator and elementary school principal, and
Dr. Foster Cline, a renowned child psychiatrist created the “Becoming a Love and
Logic Parent” program. For over 30
years, this internationally acclaimed parenting program has helped parents get
control of their lives and raise children to become responsible adults. Jim Fay is regularly featured on PBS television.
“Becoming a Love and Logic Parent” is built on a philosophy
of raising and teaching children to become loving, responsible adults. Parents learn to use empathy instead of
anger, allowing them to remain calm and happier. Children feel loved. They learn and grow through their mistakes
and the natural consequences for the choices they make. Life lessons are learned at a young age when
the price is small. Children as young as
9 months learn how to solve problems, make decisions, and be responsible for
their actions. This common sense
approach teaches parents how to create a win-win situation with their
children. The children learn the skills
necessary to become happy, productive, and responsible adults and the parents
learn how to take care of their own needs in a healthy, positive way.
